Sheet metal fiber laser cutting

Sheet metal fiber laser cutting

The sheet metal laser cutting machine is a CNC processing device. It adopts high-power laser beams to heat, melt and vaporize workpieces, while coaxial high-pressure gas blows away molten materials to form accurate cutting slits. Superior to traditional cutting techniques, laser cutting features high precision, fast speed and great flexibility with no molds required. It ensures smooth cuts, narrow heat-affected zones and high material utilization for optimized processing performance.

Solution Overview

For laser cutting equipment, the X-axis and Y-axis of the operating mechanism are required to precisely and high-speed control the motion trajectory of the laser cutting head. The Z-axis shall steadily regulate the height of the cutting head to maintain a constant distance between the cutting head and the sheet metal, as well as coordinate and control process actions including laser emission, piercing, and auxiliary gas switching in conjunction with the laser generator.
